Samriddha Roy is an Illustrator/Visual Artist based in India, creating narratives that reflect her concerns and observations of both her mindscape and external landscapes.. Often walking through the lanes of whimsy, her work leads her to the bridge that finally connects it to the mundane. She also explores this through a combination of words and drawings, which emphasises her enquiry. Along the way she also eats proper food to finally settle her hunger; like a planthopper.

During her time in design college, she found herself leaning towards visual problem-solving  — an approach that continues to shape her creative practice.

Her experience spans collaborations with startups, organizations, publications, and individuals across health, mental well-being, education, art, culture, wildlife, ecology, climate action, and finance, along with exhibitions, murals and workshops.

She is deeply fascinated by the natural world, including the colors, homo sapiens, tiny microbes and extraterrestrial felines found in it. She finds herself diving into cat reels while simultaneously working to amplify the voice/voices of the Earth during a time of shifting environmental conditions and upheaval.
